Well, like you said you've only watched three episodes, and there are only like five episodes out so far out of twenty two, I think? The answers to your questions may be an important plot point, and it is being saved to be used later on in the show. We are generally following Shoe, so it makes sense that since he doesn't know, the viewer wouldn't know either. I see it as obvious that Gai probably knows, and most likely later we will find out later too. This is kind of expected I don't see why the writers would reveal everything in the beginning episodes.

That is kind of contradicting to me at least. Certainly a character that is emo is not bland, they would usually be annoying. Him being bland to you, is probably because that is one of the points of his character. He even says in like the first or second episode that he planned on not standing out or anything while being in school. That is why he never tries to hang out with his friends or anything. He obviously has some confidence issues.

Him being emo makes sense. He obviously has some social problems that causes his interactions with others to be awkward. He is a pussy, and is disappointed in himself for being like that. It especially pisses him off because he is being manipulated by the alpha male of the group, aka "Gai". Everyone wants Gai's dick, no one cares about Shoe. Hey, he just wanted to not stand out in his life. Yet he is pushed to kill people and join a terrorist group, usually anybody would get a little emotional over it.

That is cool. A lot of people see animation and art-style as really important in an anime, like me. That is why I pointed it out as a good thing for why the show is not bad. I like the OST so far, and the OP is fine for me. It has good animation in it, and the song itself is fine. Don't get mad at me, but it even reminds me a little of the Eureka Seven OP.

No I don't think you are an idiot. If I thought you were an idiot, I wouldn't be talking to you right now. I generally like you as a person, which is why I usually respond to you whenever you address me. I have watched quite a bunch of episodes of Eureka Seven on adult swim like a long fucking time ago. No I haven't watched every single episode in chronological order, even though I had it all downloaded on my HD at one time. Does that mean that I couldn't point out many similarities between both of the shows?

No I am not trolling, and I can't believe you are actually taking the whole KnK thing seriously, even when Topgun knows it is a joke. How can you even take it seriously when I added every single movie to my MAL account in the span of one minute, right after I told Topgun that I thought it was terrible. Topgun does this all the time. He is notorious for always checking my MAL account after I say anything about a show. Every single time that I usually say anything about a show, he will respond, "Oh that is why you gave it a "" on MAL, or you be trollin yo, you don't even have it on your MAL!" It is especially even funny seeing as how I gave an acclaimed series all ones for each movie. I only watched the first fifteen minutes of the first movie, but I stopped because I was bored. I deleted all the movies off of my HD because I needed space, and I thought I had it saved on my EHD which I actually didn't, which is why I haven't finished watching it yet. I only said it because Topgun said something about a show I liked as a joke.

That's one. *arguments, blah, blah* Whatever, I can see some of your points making sense in the long rung, but I don't plan on actually finding out. Two. I didn't fully understand the KnK thing; my bad, and that's that. Three.

Still, assume for a second I am a retard. Please, point out the similarities between Eureka Seven and Guilty Crown. A few of them would do.

Just saw episode five I was hoping Inori and Gai would be doing it, but it was close enough. Glad Shu got played. Future love between Ayase and Shu? I'm thinking Gai is going to die. Hopefully Shu mans up a little more (I like how he is less of a girl when it comes to asking questions) and starts a rivalry with Gai, a good rivalry.

But you can't have a triangle with just two sides. Inori continues to loose flavor, she is becoming way to withdrawn to stay interesting for much longer. Love her character design thou.

Random high school kids being weapon masters... Check.

New guy getting abused by the vets for not being as awesome as everybody else even though he just fucking got here... Check.

Jail-bait love-interest with undue power and influence over the main character and perhaps the story in general... Check.

Perfunctory swearing-in ceremony in the form of some virtually impossible challenge solved by the use of super powers... Check.

JUST ACCORDING TO KEIKAKU.

Ok, up through episode seven. There's definitely some illuminati shit going on here.

I ain't hatin'. I like where the series is going, just don't like everything it uses to get there. I was just listing off some tropes my many years of sci-fi animu viewership have allowed me to pluck out with relative ease. I'm liking the show, just growing more restless every time I have to put up with the same crap I had to ten years ago in order to get a good story. Some of the things i listed I'd be ok with if they where handled differently. The induction trial to make the main character 'one of us' isn't really a bad trope, it actually makes a lot of sense. I just wish we didn't have the public hazing before hand, and more realistic 'tests'. There's no way everybody in this militia was able to dodge a giant robot on foot with nothing but a paintball gun. Perhaps a mock mission where everybody was a participant and the new guy was given a linchpin position. That way, there was no excuse to pull the super power card and conveniently side-step the issue of camaraderie. I'd rather the writers make it a persistent theme rather than save it as some half-baked treat towards the end.

And what'd you expect? To watch the show completely uninterrupted without any sort of fee? You can choose whether or not to watch all the ads at once anyway, so there's little excuse not to use it.*

*Might not be available for all shows, though. There has to be a long-form ad associated with the content.
