And Kunato hasn't shown any remorse or guilt about Hoshijiro's death, he's just pissing his pants because he's being chased by her doppleganger.

Fear and self-preservation are human traits sure, but they aren't the kind that actually endear characters to the viewer.

Btw in the Manga he didn't flip out when they were fighting Benisuzume, he didn't even comment on who they were fighting, so he's even less affected by it in the manga.

And it's not like Kunato barely knew her or anything, before Nagate showed up they were together all the time, maybe even dating or going to date.

It seems pretty obvious where it's going to leave off for this season.

But they have moved stuff around a lot over the last few episodes, it's a little confusing keeping it all straight in my head, have to look back to see what order it happened in the Mango.

Edit: Looking back, stuff made a lot more sense the order and way it happened in the Manga, they're clearly changing things to fit the 12 episode season format better, kind of a shame.

Meeku, if you want to see how things happen in the animu first then you should hold off on reading the manga chapters until this season is done, large parts of this episode happened quite a bit later in the Manga, so the stuff in between will happen in the next couple of episodes probably.
