I agree, but they also keep hinting at what's to come. It should just be revealed already instead of hinting endlessly.

And this has happened before, but did anyone notice how different the girls looked in the second half of the episode with the script scenes, especially the eyes and hair? They looked much more distinct than usual.

yeah. maybe there were just a lot of closeup scenes with the characters that warranted the extra attention to detail.
