I should clarify though, Kiritsugu isn't cheating on Irisviel with Maiya in case anyone still thinks that.

She kissed him that time when he was distracted by thoughts of Iri and Ilya to try and bring his focus back and make him the way he was before he went to the Einzberns, but that was it.

What options did he have?

The only reason Kiritsugu needed the contract was to take care of Lancer, if Kayneth refused then he and Sola would die for sure.

So he hoped that Kiritsugu wasn't that much of a cunt, also he didn't know about Maiya and he knows that Saber's all about honour and chivalry so she wouldn't have done Kiritsugu's dirty work for him.

I just feel like you just don't do something like that to someone. He looked BEYOND beat at that point of being a broken shell of what he was. And he already WAS a broken shell of what he was.

Kayneth would have to be a Class SS Retard to even try and fuck with someone who pulled shit like that.

Sure, Kayneth shot a priest but fucked up actions don't justify even more fucked up actions.

On a side note, how would Kiritsugu's wish even work? 9/10 times when someone (hero or villain) wants a "perfect" non-violent world it'd either involve stripping humanity of its.....humanity or killing everyone outright.

He should really think the possibilities of what his wish would do out...it's too stupid.

If he wished for world peace, basically preventing any war, corrupt politicians would exploit the shit out of that world and enslave their citizens with no more competent civilizations able to invade and take the politicians out of power for the good of the people. World peace wouldn't fix greed and malice, it would give them free reign.
