I guess he was already a powerful marine and when he got his hands on such a powerful fruit they decided to promote him right there on the spot.

I can't believe Norland had descendants though, he's one of my favorite OP characters and he has a lineage!

Also saw this on some jap figurine site...want so bad but it's so expensive....comes with 3 different heads(grins) too

It got warped due to Jola's paramecia-type Devil Fruit powers which I presume gives the user some kind of "Artistic interpretation/expression" power. That's why Brook looks like Edvard Munch's "The Scream"

It really doesn't look that big.

Maybe a bit bigger than the arena on Amazon Lilly

As for the fight: it will get down to 5-6 of the focused fighters then Luffy will pull off a super attack and get rid of them all at once.
