they're pretty much chocobos, but I like how they move around so much.

I'm downloading Tera now, it's an alternative having to pay $50 just to try Guild Wars 2. From first glance, the graphics are more HD and the enemies look much better, plus the player can read the enemies animations and jump out of the way if need be. I'll be rolling a sorcerer, all I'm concerned about is you get fire and ice spells, maybe some others but lacks Earth and Air like the Elementalist. But this is all conjecture, I'll let you know what I think of Tera.

Cool! I suggest trying more than one class before judging the whole game.

I don't usually roll a tank, but I might also like Archer and Thief type classes. Maybe I'll try a tank, standing up to dragon's fire sounds cool.

I don't usually roll a tank, but I might also like Archer and Thief type classes. Maybe I'll try a tank, standing up to dragon's fire sounds cool.

The blocking mechanic in this game is VERY satisfying. if you got twitch reaction timing you can be really good. Berserker is a great class that has the block and it's DPS instead of tanking

My main was my Mysti which I got to lvl 60, I don't recommend doing this, they are the hardest class to lvl. Berserker is my 2nd highest at lvl 40, I really enjoy playing as it. Lancer is like lvl 36, they're pretty fun.

I have a level 7 Sorc on Ascension server, just got the chaining spells down. Soloing is child's play right now, I haven't died once, or even come close, or needed any healing. Then again, maybe I'm just really good at avoiding all attacks lol. I don't like the disc, I think I'm buying the Tome of Knowledge, that looks much more traditional. It reminds me of "Klaatu Verata Ni--*cough*....What? I said the words.... maybe not every word exactly".

You're on noob island right now, you shouldn't die till you get off the island at lvl 11 and start questing around lumbertown. mobs stop being passive and get a lot meaner.

I'm probably going to start playing this again after I played such a long span of Guild Wars 2. I have a 30 slayer I believe in a PVE world. I'm still digging it, but I wanted to try some other classes. Any idea how the thief or archer classes are?

I enjoyed the archer class. Not sure what you mean by thief class...

My bad I meant warrior class because they dual wield the name escaped me.
