I think the eye strain right now comes from the glow on either side of the forums where the girls are. That and the bottom of the forums where the reply box is.

Added a black gradient to the middle part of the background so it's not so strong and reduced the glow on both sides.

That is a lot better, but you still need to fix the black line and text at the bottom where it is supposed to say quick reply, and then the line that separates that and the box. That should fix a lot of the eye strain.

That might be tricky, i have been searching everywhere where to change that but never managed to find the location.

Yeah this color scheme is much better on the eyes, i wonder if you make the background a little less brighter by reducing the transparency level if that would help with the eye strain.

And thanks for the work you are doing on the revamp.

Just realized this, but are you by any chance using Internet Explorer? Because the site layout is completely screwed up in IE, but it's fine in Chome and Firefox.

I'm using Firefox, it's just my display resolution that fucks the background up.

Or so I thought.. because now having checked with Chrome it displays fine.

Edit: And by fine I mean just the background, because I can't see most users' sigs if I use Chrome.

So, I'm gonna shout out a suggestion here, although I'm not entirely positive this is the appropriate place. I think it is though.

I believe a writing subsection would be pretty cool. I know that I would post in it, and maybe others will enjoy to as well. I've been wanting to make a haiku thread here but wasn't sure where.

Yes, that is a Chrome only issue.
I looked for a fix before but found nothing.

Wow, i never had that many problems, only the scroll issue.
Anyway i changed the "online" image notification on the corner of people posts.

Will have to change some other buttons because keeps nagging about it

Edit:

The "Similar Topics" thing has been removed, since it was just links from other places and not the forum.

1. The "invisible" text is not invisible anymore (Text separating forum options, it was black before)
2. It's not possible to make the "Notify me when a reply is posted" unchecked as default, it's one of the forum things i don't have control over and the owners of the service decided to leave it checked as default.

Background tweaked.
Now 50% more SFW and 50% more badass.
Both sides also got a fade to black instead of the bright glow.
