Actually it was Zack that made the change without talking to me, i just went with it.
I'll work something out that gets the attention of people that we moved, for the people that really don't want to go to SA they can stay in GT AF, at least until April if GT actually launchs the new site by then.

Yeah i agree we need some time for people to make the move with a post of the top of every thread if possible to let people know what is going on and when the last day this forum will be open, you know full disclosure.

Doesn't seem like we'll be having a private section as I was hoping if we move, GTE might not even be able to keep theirs for much longer.

Honestly I wish the idea of moving was never even brought up, I'm quite happy with this place, slow as it often is.

I'm already on SA so from my perspective all this transition means for me is that I'll lose this place and several members will not want to move over to SA like Zooleh above me and Miku who's kinda already left in part because of this.

I'm hoping that it's not too late at this point to just stay put but PT being on the side of a move obviously doesn't bode well.

IF no private section, that really is a deal breaker. I am all good with talking with new people, but shit, I hate when someone just shows up and just fucks with a good conversation (certain threads exempt).

No having a private section would completely ruin what we have right now. Which is a group of people who we know won't come in to a thread and troll it to no end. And i am with Topgun and wished the idea of moving was never brought up. I think we should stay here as well and when GT finally closes there faction maybe we will get an infusion of some of the member who are still lingering on the GT faction.

I will simply revive the GT Animefaction for that matter. It appears the forum change might never occur as it looks so why not simply go back.

Did GT not say that it wants to roll out the update in April?

Edit: Regardless, PT, Hollow, Quey, Wing, Karlobster, Topgun, etc. have all been enjoying SA.

AF GT was open to the public for a long time, pretty much how it is in SA as in anyone could enter and talk.
I only made it that so that people need to apply to enter on two occasions, when we had a problem with some user or when we reached a very big number of members.

I never saw AF as a private groupy thing, i saw it as a community that always welcomed new people, but i guess that died out along time ago in GT also.
People can stay here if they don't want to move.

I always say my faction the same way PT sees AF: A community open to new participation.

As a once-faction founder and now site-founder, I've always maintained that view is best for keeping a community active and strong.
