Really? The fact that they changed all the voice actors disgusts me allot more.

I love Kazuya Nakai as a voice actor, but him as Borma... No it just doesn't work.

I prefer SAC (and Innocence since it had the same english voice cast) English dubbed so I've never really been that attached to the Japanese voice cast in the Ghost in the Shell franchise.

But it would've been nice if they'd at least managed to keep them the same, especially Batou.

I'm pleased with Maaya Sakamoto as the Major though, and she already played her briefly when she used little girl bodies in both the 1995 movie and Stand Alone Complex.

doesn't unicorn release late because they have to release it on theaters first? if it was straight to DVD/blu-ray ordeal they would release way faster.

First trailer with voices. Motoko, aramaki and batou sound... pretty good i must say. Togusa sounds a bit off sadly. But You can definitely tell that its a OVA, the animation quality is fantastic.

Bit more psyched again now.

juust saw it!
i got a feel of hercules poirot from it! cooool!
long investigation very immersive, i love the format. it goes way farther than classic 20mins anime.
i hope the limit the winks to previous works in the future though.
sakamoto maaya is close enough to motoko's voice and i love the very nice 360 turn: she dubbed child body motoko in 95' Gits!
any way superb animation, weird to see motoko that slim, nice to see eveyone WAY younger. the tone nor the content changed though.
you could have thought it was a scheme to get a younger gen to buy it but in fact they are only younger what they do isnt lighter nor is it dumber.
nice comeback after a decade IG!! LOVED IT!!!!

You know what would have been a better comeback?

SAC 3rd Gig.

It wasn't bad though.

Still, SAC shits on it from a great height, it's an alright diversion but I'm gonna continue clinging to the hope that they'll be able to get the old staff back together and make 3rd Gig happen so I can die happy.
