Well shit. Id completely forgotten about that question. I know the stories gotten quite far from the original plot but maybe its something about Shinigami (think liquid Bleach) removing the Hollows (stains) from the world?

This bleach chapter was not bad.

Been a good week then I guess. Started One-Punch Man and got caught up on Hungry Joker.

I like the premise a lot, and the main character is super eccentric. It's got a few elements that remind me of the Jackie Chan Adventures cartoon too. This might not be the best description so i'll be a bit more direct:

Hungry Joker is about a scientist and his assistant who embark on a mission to find objects called Eureka which are responsible for the various scientific discoveries of mankind. The MC (can't remember his name, can you believe that?) has Newton's Apple, which when a bite is taken grants him universal gravitation powers. Eureka can only work on an individual that it is compatible with. On the hunt for these Eureka are a shady organization of superhuman monsters (some of which also have Eureka they've found). MC and his assistant are recruited into an organization sanctioned by the UN called White Joker which is dedicated to finding them before the monsters do. This is just a light summary and by no means holds all the details.

I would highly suggest you read it. I only read it after looking on the cover of WSJ to see that it was replacing REBORN! (which the final chapter was printed in the very same issue)

They spent all that time to get to the point with zaraki, for what...

Now we are back on ichigo being way to powerful for everyone else...

But Ichigo isn't powerful enough apparently. This is just Kubo trying to prolong this as long as necessary.

I don't think that is the truth. It seems that the dude gave them a handicap using his zanpakuto in that pit. When his zanpakuto rejected Ichigo, it lifted the handicap. Ichigo was able to stay alive without the help of the zanpakuto which means his power output its much stronger than expect. The only thing he lacks is an understanding of himself which isn't his fault, but rather he doesn't know the complete history of his family.

Kenpachi is gonna get Bankai.

ya, but half of them are not strong enough to steal strong shinigami's bankai's and only the quincy boss could steal yama's bankai and given Kenpachi is insane strong his power is probably similar to yama.

have kenpachi kill everyone up to boss and ichigo come in to fight final boss the end.
