Well Zoro didn't really attacked her , just defended.
either he can't use Haki or there's a reason for him not to attack her.

Zoro can use haki. We know he has the observation haki...but he may not have the armament haki....yet. Clearly Tashigi does though. And yeah maybe he doesnt like fighting women.

I'll be kinda disappointed if zoro can't use armament haki. Is not like the Haoshoku Haki that select few has it, but anyone can learn the armament haki.
