Happy with everything this episode. Handled the backstory better than the manga.

Well that episode was interesting.
It was paced nicely and made some things that weren't as obvious in the manga more obvious

Changed up the scene so that Mikasa actually starts fighting back rather than just resolving to do it before the other Titan shows up to save her.

Also POMEGRANATE SYMBOLISM.

I saw a thread on /a/ with some guy complaining about the handling of that scene but I thought it was better than in the Mango, the OST playing helped too.
