Anime Faction Secret Santa 2012

As it has been the tradition in AF to hold a secret santa event, it is fitting to hold it again this year!

Process is simple: post a comment here on whether if you want to be in the event, however one must commit to fulfill your end of the bargain since it's rude to the other person who has taken the time and/or money to buy you a gift.

I will take entries until THE START OF THE FIRST DAY OF THE STEAM CHRISTMAS SALE (which should be mid december). I will update it with the actual date later.

On that day I will take all the participants and pair them up randomly and send them a PM and they have until Christmas day to send their respective secret santa their gifts.

if there's a lot of people I might add some fun game mechanic to it : DD spread the word!

Also if you are participating, leave your steam/psn/xboxlive/wiifriendcode here if you have'nt wrote them in the AF IGN database

TIPS & TIPS

-gifting code is the most easiest way to give gifts to others since most people have steam. Prepaid codes such as PSN/XBOXLIVE/WII/LOL/ITUNES is also easy to give away.

-don't buy people real gifts that involve shipping the gifts to them. Idk if this happened before but if it does, I'm not gonna jump through hoops to find address for you.

-if you are gifting steam games, check the respective people's wishlist and get them games from there or buy indie packs. this might be a good time to update your steam wishlist people.

WRITE YOUR PREFERRED PLATFORM FOR RECEIVING THE GIFT. IF YOU PREFER TO RECEIVE A STEAM GIFT, SAY STEAM. IF YOU WANT TO RECEIVE A GIFT CARD CODE BECAUSE YOU ONLY HAVE A SINGLE CONSOLE, STATE THE SPECIFIC CONSOLE. IF YOU DON'T GAME AT ALL, THEN STATE AN ONLINE MALL WHICH OFFERS GIFT CODES (AMAZON, ETC) WHICH YOU USE. THIS WILL HELP THE PEOPLE DECIDE WHICH PLATFORM TO BUY ON. IF YOU HAVE TO RESORT TO BUYING A PHYSICAL COPY, PM ME WHEN YOU RECEIVE YOUR SECRET SANTA SO I CAN HELP YOU WITH THE BACK END WORK.

UPDATE 1.02

DUE TO CERTAIN DEMANDS, THE SECRET SANTA GIFTS WILL HAVE TO BE A GIFT OF MONETARY VALUE. I KNOW THIS SOUNDS DUMB BUT SEEMS LIKE EVERYONE IS GOING TO FIND THE MONEY TO BUY LEGITIMATE GIFTS TO GIVE OTHER PEOPLE AND SOME CAN VIEW RECEIVING THINGS THEY CAN FIND ON THE INTERNET IN EXHCHANGE FOR SPENDING 10~20 BUCKS (LOL 10~20) SEEMS A BIT GYPPED. THERE'S STILL TIME TO BACK OUT SO BACK OUT, BUT TO RESTATE AGAIN, IN ORDER TO PARTICIPATE YOU MUST BE DEDICATED TO SPENDING ACTUAL GIFTS TO YOUR RESPECTIVE SECRET SANTA.
