Fine, let's move away from the idea that you're sharing - showing off - in a prideful sense. If that's not the case, what *is* the point of sharing? To what end are you doing it for? Sharing "just because" is not good enough for me, I'm afraid to say. What response are you hoping to get out of anyone, out of us? Clearly you are expecting something, I don't see it any other way.

How is this any less "real life" than real life? While we are protected and given power by our anonymity, I sincerely believe there shouldn't be any disconnect between how we are on the internet and outside of it. So no, I'm not super nice, not at all. I'm at odds with everyone, at any given time, anywhere.

And there are a lot of people that act completely different online than offline I'm sure you know that. Seems like you think everything that you "believe" should be true. People used to believe the earth was flat, but it's not. And I know that's probably a major exaggeration but you get what I mean. I admire that you act the same regardless of being online or off. Whenever I ignore someone, I feel tempted to reveal the comment. So if I'm able to click on the comment, then it's not really ignoring. In GT, when you block someone, their comment will never appear, but whatever. I need to stop revealing comments lol.

Correct. Being nice has no spark to it, it doesn't get people going. I don't very much like playing pretend like I believe everyone else does. "Everyone" being an exaggeration, of course.

I've good reason to do so, if I'm allowed that much.

I probably am, on both accounts. The people deserve to know, don't they?

You will find that being a buzzkill has more to do with interrupting or outright stopping the enjoyment of others by whichever means necessary, in a conscious manner. I don't think I quite fit into that, my behaviour having more to do with people themselves, regardless of what they happen to be doing. I'm not entirely inconsiderate, believe or not. Am I a "buzzkill" for calling out people on stupid things they do or say, repeatedly? Mayhaps I should let them wallow in said stupidity. If you really think about it, I'm helping them. I'm a great man.

Going back, however, taking pleasure in what I do? Perhaps. I enjoy being contrariant, but not to the extent that that is the sole purpose.

And shitty? I don't really get how that's at all descriptive, unless you'd like to explain it further.
