I never pay the monthly fee anymore, I pay with in-game gold now.

It averages about 1800-2000g per month, which isn't very much at all once at lvl 60. by the time you reach lvl 60, you'll have at least 3000g in the bank just from questing. I make enough gold in less than a week of playing just a couple hours a day to pay for a month.

The General Chat of the PvE so far is really different, in the PvP i even saw ppl insulting each other, in the PvE when i first joined everyone was talking about anime, lol

With most classes this can be done in 2-3 weeks without killing yourself. Know where to go and doing dungeons regularly is a huge part of being efficient.
