I like this show it's different.

I really hate waiting for this show, it's not fast paced (at least not yet, we're kind of still in the prologue right now setting things up) but if all the episodes were out now I could marathon them in one go because I'm extremely interested, meanwhile with stuff in my backlog like RahXephon where all the episodes are there for me to watch at my leisure I feel like I almost have to force myself to watch each episode.

Looks like another character "disappears." Well, he deserved it, so w/e. I also wonder what's up future Saki(?) talking about Maria's birth and how lives could've been spared. Poor Maria. D:

Some pretty dark here. But really interesting show so far, i wonder what the first minute of the first episode meant, with the modern age Cantus users going on a rampage.

So why exactly do they have to remove their cantus and teach them a new one? Because the elders are afraid the kids might go crazy with it?

First episode was good. Love the music and atmosphere this show has.
Edit: Watched episode 2. Ok for some reason im really digging this show. I like how the teacher doesnt say anything, and instead gets out the stamp lol.

Seems that way.

The new way they're taught probably includes the ethics code that Manabu violated in the second episode by using his juryoku on something that someone else was already controlling.

The gang finally made contact with the archive/database/library/etc. thing. Seems like we'll get a nice history lesson of what went down those many years ago. Can't wait.

They're not afraid of their power, they're afraid they'll misuse it. They want them to be both powerful and controlled.
