All in all I hope this game sold well enough to garner a sequel.

Not a direct sequel obviously, but another game that deconstructs how current shooters are, I really like how The Line gave a great representation of "War is Hell" and "There's no good choice, only bad and worse"

I'd rather they tackled a different subject entirely. Despite mirroring some aspects of Heart of Darkness/Apocalypse Now, I think they proved their worth in allowing us to experience a game from a different perspective and I wouldn't want them to become "those guys who make really good deconstructions of modern FPSs".

But it IS the 9th game in the series. It'd be kinda weird if they go back to GUNG HO MURRIKA, unless they do a goofy spinoff thing like Furious 4.

Hope the series can only go up from here.

Stoopid me I didn't notice this series had a lot of different developers.

Well I just hope the series can make a name of itself as the "something a little different" series then, or the "genuinely story focused" military shooter.

Or at least something like that. Then again the developers could change again at any time.
