I blew through the first 13 chapters of Spec Ops just a couple of hours ago. What stopped me from finishing it in one go was the fact that it got kinda cheap in terms of difficulty, even on normal. Good story, if a bit manipulative.

I get what you mean.

At one point it felt like I died just because of how many guys are shooting me at the same time (I popped out of cover for half a second at full health once, got dropped before I could even shoot) than the game actually being fair.

I'm still surprised I don't hear about the game more.

Amazingly enough it felt a lot longer than Darkness 2, that game just breezed by me in an afternoon.

Don't know if I have the balls to get the bad endings...well...all of the endings were BAD but I went for the "bittersweet" one.

I blame my empathy.

That's exactly it, the amount of enemies gets overwhelming and it becomes frustrating. The save system that takes you back before you barely killed those 30 dudes doesn't help, either. I didn't know about the multiple endings when I started playing it nor do I know how my decisions affected anything. I guess it'll be interesting once I get back to it. Why not just watch everything else on Youtube?

At some point I just let Lugo and Adams shoot guys while I pussy out at a distance. and ONLY SHOOT when I see the enemy is only shooting at them.
They're surprisingly decent on their own at times.

Guess I could just check youtube too.

People don't know how to advertise their fucking products correctly. Just ask Uber Entertainment [Cries Internally].

They could have boasted their asses off about how great the story was all throughout development and they wouldn't even be wrong, but they didn't.
