Well, not me, but I asked Lady to buy me the game with her card (since she owes me money) and she only has debit card, apparently it doesn't process and said her card is invalid. I see a lot of people use debit and it works fine.

I think i'll be going with a warrior, level a necromancer for WvWvW and a ranger for structured PvP/main alt.

anyway guys i was thinking of joining into the jadequarry server, whatcha think? maybe wait until release and see how the traffic is?

shall we go with low populated servers or choose high populated servers as are home server for WvWvW and then just log into low populated servers if we want to quest or raid?

what's the lvling up pace like? are all of you gonna be at like lvl 40+ within a week?

well lets see here, you lvl up by doing pvp, main and side quests and event quests, you get jack shit from grinding, you only grind for materials, and skill exp for your various weapon stances, i got to lvl 25 in a matter of a couple days and im sure i can do it faster cause i wasnt playing 24 hours straight lol

so is everyone day 1 'ing this game?

I doubt it'll take that long to get to 80. You won't really fall behind that much if you don't start at day 1.
Most MMO's, like WoW, are far more gear-based, and even then most people don't have problems with starting new alts.

yeah theres 5 slots for alts if you fall behind ill be glad to start my elementalist and lvl it only when youre on

i was thinking on jade quarry but i dunno, if were concerned about WvW wed want to choose one of the higher populated servers, at least medium or something

I can't purchase the game atm, and might have a late start by 2 weeks or so.

To be honest I'd pick a medium server, and fill with bunch of Roleplaying preferably.

I'll probably have to wait till a bit after launch to buy the game.
