Really digging the show, i love space operas so its only natural. So far theres 4 episodes out that are translated but 6 episodes are actually out
edit: the whole series will be showin in theatrical releases and after each thater release it will come out in dvd, the theatrical releases will be shown in a span of 1 year, the first 2 episodes came out as a theatrical release for the 1st premier, the next 4 episodes was from the second theatrical release and 2nd DVD/BR disc the 3rd premier which will show episode 7-10 will be release in theaters in japan on 2012-10-13, i expect the DVD/BD will be release sometime next month

I haven't seen the original, and the only release for this new version doesn't seem like the best.

I don't know if I should just watch the original, or start with this one.

well it is a remake, so its pretty accurate to the original minus the one guy i said they changed to a chick

Color me excited! loved the old series, and by the look of the screenshots i will most likely love this one too! There need to be more Space Operas.. such a fantastic genre.

are these OVA's or 24 minute episodes? the quality in the pictures looks fantastic

they are 24 minute episodes and so far 6 episodes are out, im not sure if its weekly, cause i think the 6 episodes came out all in one blueray disc

i believe 26 episodes like the original, but like i said im not sure if its weekly

Man... just finished watching episode 4... I hate this feeling :( Finally after so much waiting, a new awesome space series shows up... And its going to end and leave me sad and depressed while waiting for the next 10 years until we get another great and well written space opera that doesn't involve highschool girls with tits bigger than pamela anderson..

Off-topic, but the main character of btooom!(fall 2012) will be 22 years old, and most of the cast(aside from 2 characters) are above the age of 20(including some middle-aged men)

Summary sounds interesting, but after google imaging.. Is there more to it than panties and tits? because 80% of the pictures are composed of just that. the Character design looks neat though, thanks for the headsup!

Edit: Read the first 3 chapters. Definitely interesting. Kinda reminds me of Gantz, meets battle royale

ep 7-10 are out (thanks sammy) however the subtitles are terribad but it works....i suggest using VLC media player if MPC doesnt work, it didnt load the subs for me for some reason

The girls are pretty delicious in this series.

Leiji's character designs were given a far better modern treatment than in Ozuma.

Ahhh completely forgot about this, my site doesn't have a single episode of it.
Damn it and no AVI version either (with AVI I can just put it on a flash drive and watch it on my TV)

dont worry about lol it takes like 3-4 months for another 4 episodes since its theatrical release

nah man theyre all BD rips it releases in theaters then it releases on bluray so it takes like another month after its out in theaters, the subs are just like....crappy....not in terms of grammar or whatever but the text hurts my eyes lol
