Alright, I'll start. I'm in need of some Wii games. I'm looking at Red Steel 2, Muramasa, No More Heroes, and Mad World. Do any of you guys recommend any of these four if not all of them? Thanks in advance, and sorry for the double post.

From all those i only played Muramasa (emulated on PC) and i can safely say it's an awesome game.
Also heard good things about No More Heroes, the other 2, not so much.

Just watched the review. There are two characters you play as and each route is about 6 hours long, so about 12 hours to beat game, and if you explore and try to get all the equipment you can tack on a few more hours.Destructo wrote:Alright, thanks.

Yeah, I watched the review a few years back, but forgot everything and didn't want to watch it again on the new GT player lol.

Going on a trip tomorrow, need a downloadable PSP game. Right now deciding between Chains of Olympus, Liberty City Stories/Driver '76, Fate/Stay Extra or Corpse Party. What do you think?

I've only played the demo for Chains of Olympus, which was pretty good, so I'll recommend that.

With Darksiders 2 and Sleeping Dogs coming out in a few days i'm trying to figure out which one I want to get first. Want something that will last for a few weeks at least till FOC.
The other thing is i've been thinking about getting Skyrim. Never played any of the Elderscrolls games due to the fact I thought they were all First-person only games. The one thing thats stopping me is a fear of a certian creature(s) in the game. It's mostly spiders that bother me. It's weird though, I know its not real but my eyes and brain are saying something else.

Out of those 2 I'd say Darksiders 2 looks more solid and it huge, it'll keep you busy for a while, at least that's what the developer is saying. Skyrim is a pretty shallow game and you're not missing much. If you fear bugs alike don't ever go near Fallout 3 or New Vegas by the way.

It's not so much giant bugs its just giant spiders. They are the only ones that bother me. Weirdly enough, scorpions are in the same family but they don't bother me one bit.

Fallout 3 has a ton of abnormally large and radiated scorpions. lol
No spiders, though. After playing Fallout 3, I can safely assume that it's not for everyone. If you don't like exploring and are impatient, then you won't like it. I think it's the same for Skyrim and Oblivion.

Haha like I said scorpions I can deal with. They look like lobsters with a stinger to me. As for exploring, i've played my fair share of rpgs and mmos so that's not a problem. But never really understood the obsession with giant spiders in the first place in so many rpgs. Now the Fable games didnt have spiders but dealing with the undead that swarm you at night kinda put you on edge.
One more game, looking for at least one cheap game $15 or less. Was thinking about Orcs Must Die. Then again, I haven't tried out Sonic 4 yet.

There are mods that remove all spiders and spider webs from Skyrim.

one month later fuckin god of war shit came out and overshadowed a great game.
i find retrospectively the gameplay a bit weird to get into, but best char galiator game ever, excellent gore(u can cut the arms of guys and beat them with it), one of the best stealth game out there: once found out you might be quick enough to get a hiding place; if not, you die-roman guards are merciless: catch you between a wall and their shield and fuck you HARD with their gladius-.
