Just rewatched 1.0 and 2.0 last night, God 1.0 is hilarious in english. You can tell the returning cast members were having a hell of a time getting back into the old voices

The bluray of 2 has it, but its kinda of weired (its more like a Q&A track over the movie) and 1 has it aswell, but its more traditional (you know whole cast sits in a room and chats)

I remember 2.0 taking almost 2 years after the Jap. theatrical release to be screened in the U.S. I hope it doesn't take that long for 3.0

Eva 2.0 June 27 2009 JPN. April 5 2011 for U.S

Can someone explain to me how there are all these sequels after the main series ended so painstakingly brutal? Or did they remake the series into more like the manga?

This is a remake. Hence the "Rebuild" of Evangelion. It is very different from any source of Evangelion. I don't think it follows the manga either.
