We talked about this before, that's more of a momentary impulse, not really the same thing as contemplating or planning suicide like these guys are describing.

If/when I kill myself, I plan on doing it with a 9mm. Essentially painless, and it's not over-dramatic.

It involves any sort of impulse that has to do with inflicting pain or death upon yourself, I suppose.

You don't think there's a massive distinction between that feeling we talked about and actually planning to kill yourself?

The impulse thing is more akin to the feeling that a person with tourettes might get, though not as strong, an urge to do something because you know you shouldn't.

Actually taking time to contemplate or plan suicide is quite different I'd say.

I'd assume and hope it's just a phase in the case of these guys though, when I was 17-19 I was pretty convinced I was gonna kill myself, ironically I became less suicidal over time even though my life's gotten worse.

But enough about all this, I have to decide whether to go to sleep now or watch the new ep of GoT first.
