I'm trying to listen to Linkin Park's newest albums (Minutes to Midnight all up to Living Things). I'm just having such a hard time dealing with the change they've gone through recent years. I can appreciate the effort they put into a more "complex" technical element to their songs though they're minimal I don't deem them as bad. I still own Hybrid Theory/Meteora, I've listened them countless times as they were part of my childhood/teens like everyone else and I'm trying really hard to call the new albums as a sort of progression but it just ends up diverging so far away from their original style, it's not right.

It's not a definitive no from me but I'm just really trying to open myself more to change.
