Oh yeah...poor Reiko.

It's like the only reason she came back was to be with Sakakibaracuda a little longer in a way...If only they managed to stop the curse from killing anyone...rather than causing the WORST instance of it ever

...which reminds me...if in some years the curse doesn't kill anyone, does that mean a dead person just flat out gets to live again?

There's one every year I think.
They bypass the deaths by ostracizing one student to fill the Another's place, but Reiko was a TEACHER so that screwed everything. I guess the staff had to ostracize someone.

But in episode 1, it mentions the Misaki of 26 years ago being a girl. And the synopsis the OP copied mentions her being a girl too. For some reason, the current MAL synopsis says that Misaki is a boy.

I remember everything thinking Misaki was a girl until it was brought up he was a boy.

Not sure which episode but it was brought up.

I seem to remember Sakakibarararagi-san suspecting that Mei was the ghost of said girl, but later finding out the Misaki in the class 26 years ago was a boy.

If I didn't completely fabricate that memory then some guy decided to edit the synopsis into something of a spoiler.

If it started because nobody would accept Misaki's (guy) death, wouldn't it be reversed by having everyone from class 3-3 see the Another die, meaning that they won't forget?

Because they forget who it is when they don't see him/her die, so shouldn't all of them acknowledging the dead's..."death" reverse it?

...I'm saying it wrong but it makes sense.

It just feels like it would have been so much better if it stuck with how it was in the first 2/3's of the show. It kept things away from you, kept you guessing, and people dying actually felt like accidents (though there were some fuckstupid ones) up until the end where it went Saw 69 on me.

If it went more quality over quantity with the deaths, kept it more of a mystery for longer and actually kept everything from going full blown derp at the end I would have liked it.
