There was an endcard to that ep too, it just wasn't in the HS release for some reason.

Demon Jean is too shiny still hot though, Rita's bad-ass-ery has confirmed her as my second favorite

I kind of doubt it.

I think squandered potential is the main feeling I have about this show now that it's finished.

I would have so much preferred a show that didn't have to carry the baggage of CGI Bahamut and his world ending bullshit.

Something with the lighter tone of the first few episodes, more episodic with the same characters partying up and just adventuring around the world would have been so much more entertaining, would need to be longer though.

What we ended up with in the second half was still good, but not nearly as good as the show could have been, I'll always look at it in terms of how much I got my hopes up early on and how it seemed to be delivering only to start stalling as the main plot started bearing down on the fun.


Jeanne goes from ravishingly beautiful to Maximum WHY with an ill-advised Nisio Isin style haircut.

Rita was completely forgotten about in the epilogue, unforgivable.

Amira had a nice moment there with Favaro, but since she's suffered the most from the way the plot interfered with the good thing the show had going it's not much consolation for me.

Now that's one incredibly negative sounding post, but it's all because I liked the show SO much up to a (hard to pin down) point, the descent of the show into just being "good" is hard for me to take.

While i enjoyed the show, i too believe that it could have been a full 24 ep anime.

So glad I marathoned the last few episodes. That ending was wack.
