But there's really absolutely nothing new in case anyone was wondering.

That's really a good thing in the long run though, means they didn't waste any time here and just used the time to focus on the upcoming proper episodes.

You know, after watching all the terrible cgi in the Berserk movies, Im hardly bothered by it anymore.

It's not so bad when they just use it fairly sparingly the way they do here with certain props/characters from a distance in larger scale scenes.

With the Berserk movies it's right up in your face more than half the time.

Tachikomas in SAC are teh best integrated 3DCG still.

That fucking almost DEEN tier CG Dragon. Since it barely had to move they really should have just drawn it in 2D art.

Episode was a little weak, especially production value-wise it had a lot of poor animation direction and QUALITY shots compared to what we usually get though some scenes still looked great, mainly the stuff that didn't happen in the forest. There were still some fun parts and some interesting developments but for most of the episode I was left thinking they could have executed it better.

I now fully expect Jeanne to drink Martinet's love juice and become corrupted. There is a Dark Jeanne card in the game after all.

At the end of this episode the lives of all three best grils are now endangered.

Jeanne's sentenced to become french toast.

Fava's been told he has to kill Amira and now he actually has a weapon capable of doing it.

And Rita's found her way into Martinet's kitchen, I don't expect they'll be swapping alchemical recipes in there.

No post credits scene, or endcard.
