After watching this 60 Minutes segment about diamond robbers, I'm almost considering joining the Pink Panthers.

Killing the AH and raising the cap with new items is perhaps the only way to infuse some vitality back into the game, which will have players actually have to make due with whatever drops they get and grind on their own for better items. Might just be enough to make the game interesting again.

Yesterday when i was playing most people that were chatting in Global were people that had left the game prior to release and had come back after patch, like me.
The way you say it "Grind on their own" makes it sound the game has "single player only" and the online part is just for DRM and chatting, you can grind with friends and this time around each person gets their own loot (having 1 loot for all was a nightmare in D2, even with friends) and not to mention that you can still trade with people (again, just like in D2) to counter the fact that the AH is now gone (praise the sun!)

Also there are so many builds and the game rewards so many playstyles that i doubt everyone will carry the same items, some, sure. But i doubt it will be as bad as D2 when it comes to that

but the main reason I got it was because I was very interested of bayonetta 2 when I saw it on the nintendo direct awhile back

No, no it doesn't. And people won't carry the same items *now* because of RoS, but it's what it was like before. Another one of D3's faults is that classes are very indistinguishable beyond what their skills *look* like. Every other spell scales off of flat weapon damage and crit damage, which everyone has been piling up ever since it was discovered to be the most efficient build. You have 5 classes that essentially build the same, with slight variations because they use dex instead of int or something. As far as trading in RoS goes, I'm not sure if this is going to transition over, but in the past couple of days I've only been getting "account bound" legendaries, meaning what's left to trade are only rare items. Also, all of my arguments have been in the idea that the change brought on by RoS is *good*.

The fact that runes are in makes it different enough for me or just the fact that the chance of people using the same thing is smaller, then again i really don't care if people use the same skills since that seems like something that would make PvP boring, which i don't plan to touch in this life time.
Also, i completely forgot about the account bound items, i can't remember if they are already account bound before you identify them but even if they aren't that would be kinda pointless for trade if someone doesn't know what it is.

There is a certain kind of flavour to each skill, I do switch up occasionally because I like the system. However, if you consider the basic gameplay of Diablo in general, "kill stuff so you get better equipment so you can kill stuff even more efficiently", a good deal of skills aren't that good as you ramp up the difficulty. As for trading, I'm going to take a guess and say that they'll eventually allow for all items to be traded.

Also i just recently changed from elemental arrow to the sentries since i got a quiver that gives me +2 of them.
So i guess items sort of push you/encourage you to try new stuff.

using the sentries is kinda fun actually, you can just deploy them and run around avoiding elite hazards, the only bad thing is the big 6sec cd before placing another sentry.
I also have another item that grants me +2 wolfs, great to keep mobs away from me, they also deal a ton of damage
