Star Citizen has gained over $37,000,000 in crowd funding and will be released when it's ready.

I have just purchased my first ship and I've gotten into the beta. The only content out right now is the hangar with the ships you buy in it.

This is my ship, the Origin 315P which is designed for exploration.

Unless i can acquire the shop ships via game with a lot of effort, I'm not touching this game
If there is a way to disable PvP or if there are PvE servers, then i might consider at least trying it out

I'm certain once the game is out you will be able to earn the ships with in-game money.
