more dandy craziness during the summertime? I'm cool with that.

I have to say I really think that Space Dandy is doing the right thing by airing in the US and Japan at the same time with a dub in the US

I wonder of more anime will try to do this

maybe the upcoming call of duty anime will.

While I would like to see that happen more often, I dont see it happening unless
A. Both the Japanese studio and dub house have a good business relationship (such as the case of Bones and Funimation)
B. We have another anime that is produced by and american company (like how Turner Broadcasting/Cartoon Network funded a second season of Big O)
C. ?????????
D. Some kind of crazy profit to be made for someone

I heard Space Dandy is a big hit on Adult Swim so maybe it can happen

It definitely is a hit. It averages at least 1,000,000 in ratings every episode.

For some reason I think Honey would be the better addition, she says she's being fired or something, Dandy offers her a room on the ship thinking Dandy thoughts, and then find out she's a total bitch or something.

This show was not what I was expecting, but I really enjoyed it. Overall, pretty groovy/10.
