Honestly, all you have to do is rant about yourself once. It's like writing a single blog entry, and maybe answering as many questionnaire questions as you want. You can do it whenever you're bored. It's not challenging.

I mean if you don't want to do it, you don't have to, but it seems to me like you're dead set on being single for reasons that (although you're entitled to have) are silly, and now you're just sticking to them and rationalizing why you're gonna keep them.

I'm still gonna stick by my assertion that it's better to be open (but with a reasonable hesitance... as some people really aren't good for you) than to be completely closed off.

Especially if the alternative (when properly achieved) could make their life nicer.

Plus you make it sound like I'm advocating rashly entering a relationship as quickly as possible, when I'm not.
If someone has issues that would make any relationship be risky, they should hold off on it (like if they're rebounding).

There are good reasons against being drunk... like not slowly killing yourself, or lowering your inhibitions to the point where you can potentially hurt other people.

And... I doubt you can just become gay. I mean, if you can, maybe you should try it because it might make your life nicer, but it's not like it's guaranteed to work.

Oh I don't disagree. Really I mean the big time burden relationships can have. I think sometimes some alone time is needed and for people I know who are in relationships, that alone time seems severely limited.

Then there's the money relationships can take up etc etc

Relationships seem to eat up alot of resources. I question if its always worth it.

What's it matter if it's "slowly" killing me? We're dying anyway. Alcohol consumption will make you more outgoing whether you want to or not, you'll make friends, you'll get laid, man or woman. It's practically perfect.

You can make plenty of friends and pull easily without alcohol.

And technically is everyone dying? Is a young person who is growing still, dying? Even if so, why would you actively want to accelerate your own death? What alcohol can do is shocking sometimes, Liver cirrhosis for example is a nasty thing.
