This doesn't even make any sense, shouldn't backgrounds be on average the price of a full set of cards? I don't even care about badge ranks.

The market determines the prices.

People can only use one background at a time so even if they're harder to come by than regular cards people are still going to be willing to part with them for a reasonably low price.

I'm actually wondering if it would be worth buying spare summer sale cards just to sell them for profit after they get progressively rarer, but I'm not sure the demand for them is going to get great enough, there are still between 30-40k of each up for sale.

Still, the starting prices have already gone up by a few pence since the sale ended so if you bought some beforehand you could've made a little something with it already. If the interface was less clunky and you were able to set an option to buy in bulk automatically at a certain price then there'd be people raking it in, it'd probably be abused so much that it'd break the entire system.

I'll probably hold onto my summer sale cards since the number can only go down (then again, there's Booster Packs).

I might not sell them until years from now, hopefully I forget I even have them.

I didn't care much about badges so I'm fine with backgrounds costing less than the cards themselves, I can just sell one card and get the background I want without having to get a full set.

Quick question guys, I've noticed that a lot of vids I watch show really pixelated when there's a lot of black. Could this be because of the monitor I have? Or what other reason could there be?

Here's an example (watching at 1080p on Crunchyroll):

It's cause you're streaming. Pixelation will happen unless you get bluray rips
