What Anime Are You Watching V2

This has got have been one of the most awesome shows I’ve ever seen. I loved the time travel/supernatural/conspiracy trip this show has to offer. Also has a nice balance of comedy and suspense to add on that.

Only have two negatives, that is was only 13 episodes and why isn’t this one dubbed yet? Eitherway I’m holding out for a dub version hopefully sometime in the future but as it is now, it is still an awesome watch and another to add to the collection.

I can’t believe how amazing this show was. Solid story, hilarious comedy, and a few drama elements here and there but the one thing that almost had a negative effect on me not watching all of it was the voice acting in the first few episodes. For what it was, the acting was terrible. For a few episodes it was like someone walked up to a few random people on the street and handed them a script and said read it. But the acting got a lot better as the show went on. That or the story and comedy was so funny that I didn’t even notice acting anymore but then again, who can say? More or less it was enjoyable.

This one was beyond awesome with cool mecha action and drama. What I loved the most about this has to be all the multiple plot twists that happened throughout the series; even though a few of them were pretty obvious. Straight up, had lot of mixes from other shows/moives I love like G Gundam, Code Geass, and a slight Sliders/Men in Black complex.

I think my only negative has to be the main character design. I don’t know what it is but the main dude looks like a cross mixed anime version of Michael Cera and Shia Lebeouf for some weird reason. Or a very least reminds me of one of their characters. Other than that, the show was awesome.

This show was pretty much a total mind frag especially with the complete over the top meat grinder fest that went on from the 3rd episode straight to the end of the series. Truth be told, I like the fact they were trying to do something a little different with this series but it’s just that it focused way too much on over the top ways to kill off a lot characters than actually building up the story and suspense. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t mind gore sometimes but it can get to the point that it goes way too far. Even with that said it did get at one point that it started to get a little funny at one or two moments. To give you a better picture it’s like a merger of Kill Bill vol. 1 mixed with Metalocalypse.

Well my only two positives, has to be the last 3 episodes and the total conspiracy trip that was going on (which was made very obvious in my opinion after the second episode). Cause in the last 3 episodes was when the story actually really started to shine but it was way too late to start that now because it’s already over. The events that happened at that point should have started around episode seven to get a better feel of the story.

To sum everything up, it was alright to an extent but it could use a little more development story progression wise. In other words, it took too long getting to the point in my opinion. Even with that said this isn’t for the faint of heart or anyone with mental problems because it can screw with your mind a little bit if you are not careful. A possibility anyways.
