low
middle
high

resident
industrial
commercial

that = 9

this is linked to the roads there for there more variants not just low middle high etc

Actually you're just wrong. There's at least 11 types of zones in simcity 4 which works with an under-the-hood system of "Stages". Which are levels of development based on several factors and this system has 9 stages. Though with a mod it can go all the way up to 15 stages, which really dwarfs anything the new Simcity has.

Cool, only played a demo of the PSP games, but its cool to see one come out in the U.S
I should note that it isnt happening just yet, this is prolly sega trying to test the waters to see if its even viable to release it in the U.S

yes the road you build changes the density of the zones around it, that doesn't change the complexity and micro-level management you can do with SC4. Plus it's still just low-medium-high density it doesn't add anything to the game, it just streamlines it for the dumber consumer who's never played a simcity game other than the one on facebook
