[X360] Halo 4

It will be interesting to see what 343 will do with the game. I hope they spread the games release to be 2-3 years between releases.

I cannot wait.

Also, it's 343i, not Bungie lawl.

I think that Reach was the best of them all, so 343 has alot to live up to.

That's the reason I used to be interested in Halo. But then somebody decided they were going to tell the bulk of the story in the novels instead of the fucking game. It would be nice to know what Masterchief has to shoot this time, though.

That's why I read the novels, and damn was it worth it

I prefer to live the story rather than read it.

that may be true, but can you imagine how many games it would take to tell every bit of story the books did, i mean the story covered in halo 1 was only like half the book, take for instance warhammer universe....that universe is huge as hell, im pretty sure companies dont have the resources or the time to create that many games

If they didn't spend so much time with peripheral crap like running around in covenant spaceships, they'd have more room for the story.

There are limitations to the type of story that can be told through the medium of an action packed FPS though.

I don't think the universe expansion that's done through the novels is necessarily done at the expense of content that could have been told through the games.

Not that they couldn't have slipped more of the lore into the games.

still the amount of story out there including say helo legends and even the book with the short stories, i can see it taking like 5-10 games to tell

i still haven't beat reach yet.
