Financial problems. I'll finish it sometime in the future but as of right now I can't afford it.

CoD is the FPS equivalent to a sports game.

That's true but even then the game mechanics for CoD have become stale.
They haven't changed anything about them since CoD4, which was 6 years ago.

At least Madden introduced a physics based system.
Madden's trying to change shit up. I can't say the same about CoD.

I think the only reason reviewers give it the scores they do is to avoid the fan backlash.

COD does add new game modes for every release tho

Zombies
Spec os
strike force
new MP modes gun game etc
new zombie mode in blop 2
