First part of my minecraft lets play thingee. The audio is off, I used fraps to record audio instead of audacity so the levels are off and there's a metallic-ness to it.Part 2 should be a lot better.

nah I'm kidding, i think you need to turn down some settings on your game cause your fps is hurting. also, if you have a second hard drive, record to that instead of to the same hard drive your game is on.

will lower the setting, or just take out the AA, don't have a second hard drive

no problem. If you ever do voice-overs or commentary on you videos, record it with Audacity, it's a free recording program that's the best.

yh that what my teacher said lol about Audacity

I Lowered it from Ultra to high @ lower resolution with NO AA before recording yh frame is way better but while recording tho the frame rate goes down to similar lvls as before

What if you ran the resolution of your game at 720p?

What if you ran the resolution of your game at 720p?

first at 1440 x 900 then I lowered it to 1280 x 800

next resolution is 1152 x 720 [letterbox], I will try that

after that is 1024 x 640 [letterbox]

Edit: looks bad, I lower to medium put resolution back to 1440 x 900 with some AA

It may just be your hard drive limiting your recording abilities. Try dropping the quality all the way down to medium instead of changing the resolution. Lower graphics should put less strain on the drive and give it more power to write with
