unreal chapter. sabo looks boss. and second in command wow thats crazy. i saw someone speculate that cp0 was in dressrosa keeping tabs on the revolutionaries. that would be interesting if it was true.

i believe that sabo ate an artificial DF. seeing how its a logia type it would be a prototype that may lose its effects.

That's no prototype. That was Ace's fruit.

It was said the only fake devil fruits that could be made were Zoan types.

im aware but what stops their research from making logia types too. of all fruits that would be the one to make. a mera mera prototype would explain how doflamingo has one considering.

giving sabo ace's fruit was something i didnt expect and iduno if oda would do that taking away how unique sabo is.

a prototype makes the most sense with that in mind.

Giving Sabo Ace's fruit makes perfect sense to me, wouldn't you leave your precious heirloom to your family?

Luffy would have stayed in that tourney and won the fruit if it wasn't for Sabo being alive, once that happened he was cool with Sabo taking his power.

It stays in the family ultimately.

naw im looking at it from oda's point of view. i dont believe he would give sabo this power and take away his unique non devil fruit self.

i once speculated that sabo might be a zoan since ace and luffy make up the other 2 types. but to reuse ace's fruit....im not quite buying it.

im saying prototype.

Okay then why would they publicly advertise that the winner of the tournament receives Ace's Devil Fruit?

And why would Doflamingo say it was Ace's fruit to Diamante when he revealed it in his 4 throne room?

advertising it as Aces fruit was to grab the attention of bad guys/pirates, wasn't that why marines were surrounding the arena ?
they weren't planning on letting anyone get out

He advertised it to get Luffys attention so it will cause problems with Law's plans to take down the factory etc.

Now the reason for the Marines being in the arena is more obvious now, they were there since they might've gotten some intel that the revolutionaries were participating.

Okay yeah I get the false advertising angle for that situation, but then he told Diamante the same thing which makes no sense. Dofy is many things but I have not seen him once lie to his crew.

Then they had the tourney rigged to get the fruit back until Sabo threw a pipe into that plan.

So again if it was a fake, then they wouldn't bother participating and winning it back. Hell if Burgess had won the fruit and learned it was fake, does Dofy want to take a chance and piss off another Emperor? He's already in hot water with Kaidou as it is.

How Dofy got the fruit is a mystery but he is the King of the black market but it makes sense that Ace's fruit has reappeared. It falls in line with the devil fruit tree mythology as was told in the beginning of the series.

diamonte said they werent planning on giving the fruit to anyone to begin with. either doflamingo had confidence in diamonte winning or they planned on fixing the the match somehow.

if it's really ace's fruit you dont want to lose it, if its a prototype then you wouldnt want the world knowing your scamming them.

theirs a factory that makes fake fruits....they can make zoan types i wouldnt be surprised if they were working on the other two types as well or even a hybrid of two types. it make sense to me.

im saying sabo will lose the mera mera no mi ability after some time and return as his normal self.

Yeah and I'm saying I have no idea why he thinks its a prototype, I firmly believe its Ace's fruit and there is no reason to think otherwise.

And even if they could prototype a logia fruit, if you were to prototype something, wouldn't it be something stronger like Akainu's, Whitebeard's or Blackbeard's devil fruit?

Okay I have a good idea to put this debate to rest. Let's put it up to the One Piece Podcast panel and see what they think.

im saying it's because

1) i dont believe oda would really give sabo the mera mera fruit and take away sabo being unique as a fighter.

2) because its a possibility that they would make logia prototypes if they can make zoan.

Their might be fruits for all those powers that you mentioned but doflamingo happened to take that one or maybe thy didnt work whoo knows.

How Oda can't give the fruit to Sabo? They're brothers!!!! And we haven't really seen Sabo fight at all so we can't say how unique he is.
