pre evolved pokemon learn the moves quicker

and some moves cant be learned once they evolve so no its not counter productive

I played the card game more than the video games but I wouldn't evolve a pokemon to keep specific attacks. Do they lose attacks when they evolve?

Is this like your first time playing Pokemanz? Some moves can only be learned at a certain evolution.

No, i didnt. I was still put off by episode 10.
At least this week, i'll have 2 episodes to enjoy.

It makes sense on a very local level, I doubt anyone's gonna argue that it won't affect you more if it happens right in front of you or to someone you know, or to someone who you know knows and that could extend to the town or city level maybe.

But a state away is kind of pushing it, New York state alone is seven times as big as my entire constituent country, with a population a third of the UK's, I find it hard to consider a state away as being all that local.

when I had mine custom-built from them years ago they were very reasonable. not much more than you'd pay to build it yourself actually.

No, but the same guy wrote the scripts for those two episodes, and it looks like he's never done anything else.
