Oh look a small flock of Canadian geese has taken up residence in the stormwater pond behind my barracks. I wonder if they'll stick around till July like last year.

In Demon's Souls you could have a light armor build and roll out of every attack.
Even if you missed one roll you wouldn't get stunlocked into oblivion because you didn't have enough poise.

Dark Souls is a bit slower than Demon's Souls which throws off my pacing a little and it makes it more challenging for me.

I think overall Dark Souls is the better game though.

Strange. I just find Dark Souls to be easier. I know that in DeS, Your life gets cut in half when you die, but in DaS, nothing happens. Except you just lose your humanity. Even if that's not the case, Dark Souls is much better than Demon.
