In case you didn't know, there's a demo out on PSN and XBL and...well, that's why this thread is here. Love it? Hate it? Okay with it, but wouldn't buy it at full price? Post it here.

For me, right off the bat, I thought the demo was really cool to look at. There's all kind of shit changing and shifting every step you make, the demons also looked really cool and detailed. The city you play in is also really colorful and detailed, too and I think it gives it a really nice look.

As for the gameplay, I thought it was great, I mean it's easy to get into for the most part, meaning that was a bit of a bad call to think this plays exactly like the old games, there are some of things you liked about the old series in the combat, but it's definitely different in some ares, which brings me to the that aspect of the game, I'm not too sure about the fact that holding the L2 or R2 buttons with your combos Dante uses different weapons, I don't really know why, maybe it just caught me off guard or whatever, but I'm sure after getting this game, I wouldn't able to care less because, well, If I enjoyed this much, it can't a bad thing. Also, as you start to learn all of the combos, it gets crazy fun, lol. I've almost never wanted to have just like a swarm of demons just come rushing at me like this for a while.

This game really fell off my radar for the last 5 or 6 months, but after playing the demo, it's now on my mind, I can't wait until it gets released.

I played the demo. Pretty much disliked everything about it. This game isn't Devil May Cry, it's Capcom trying to capture the western audience by ruining a good franchise. My hack n slash of choice for 2013 will easily be MGR: Revengeance.

There are some things I like (having an evade button like Bayonetta was nice, and always having a grappling hook move was nice)
But why is launch located to a single button, why cant we actually lock on to a button, why are the combos so damn easy to pull off, why can I beat SoS mode with a triple S rank on both missions with little to no effort, why does the new Rebellion look like party toothpick for some goth party?
But MGR has my attention

I asked you to stop posting about you downloading it here and just post what you think about the demo...like everyone else here did. Yeah, I was bit disappointed in how easy I able to SSS rank the two mission it had, but since it's a demo, I won't give it too much gripe.

Hated it, already knew Donte wasn't Dante. Yet I gave NT too much credit. Thought since Heavenly Sword they would be more experienced but despite not knowing nothing of DMC the gameplay would at least be decent. Yet hearing they decided to use Unreal Engine 3 and the whole 30fps I still gave it a chance and dear god was I disappointed in the gameplay as well.

Ranking is based on damage modifiers not based on how stylish you are which is why using the axe leads to a quick SSS ranking.

So my verdict for this game is -> FUCK YOU/10

Willing to give this a chance still, it doesn't look that bad to me.

It might not be as good as the other ones, but I'm sure Ninja Theory is still learning, if I give them a chance they might do even better than the old games.

Besides, the environments look pretty fucking cool in comparison to CASTLECASTLECASTLE in DMC3

i'll try the pc ver. but MGS Revengeance seems more appealing after seeing the new trailers.

lol wtf is wrong with these people. If you don't like a game, don't play/buy it. Also the DmC is a type of parallel universe so it doesn't effect the real DMC in terms of storyline.

Dun matter anyway, cuz there's no way they're gonna reach 100,000 by Feb 13, lol.

I'm sure some are just doing it as a joke, but I'm also sure there's some people who actually want it gone.
