I managed to send the PMs eventually.
and thx, but im on the fence with it, the style i mean.
Since there's images on the left and right having the banner on the left makes it look uneven.

i'll experiment more later

Maybe you can keep the banner like that for now and put all the user/control stuff on the right of the banner. Clearing up some vertical screen space.
