I made this thread because i noticed the absence of a Comic Book and Graphic or Visual Novel Thread.

Feel free to post and talk about any comic series you are currently collecting or reading.

I will also be giving updates on new comic series and updates on ongoing ones.

I'll go ahead and start with the series that i am very excited about and just started reading

Minimum Carnage Alpha


Summary:
Carnage has escaped maximum security prison with what seems to be the help of an unknown force. With Agent Venom on his trail Carnage makes his way to the NASA center in Houston, Texas. After causing a fire in a local Houston apartment building and slaughtering an innocent citezen, the Scarlet Spider also heads after Carnage. Can Agent Venom and Scarlet Spider stop Carnage and the force that he has aiding him?

Character Breakdown:
Scarlet Spider: Kaine was a lab experiment gone wrong, an imperfect genetic clone of Peter Parker, the Amazing Spider-Man.
Dying from the day he was created, Kaine lived a life of violence and villiany until Spider-Man cured him, giving him a second chance at life. Kaine went on the run, and landed in Houston, Texas, where he decided to live up to his heroic legacy.

Venom: Eugene "Flash" Thompson was a high-school-bully turned war hero, inspired by the Amazing Spider-Man to get his act together. When he lost both legs in combat, his country gave him a chance to serve again, bonding him with an alien parisite suit that grants its host with powers similar to Spider-Man. From that day on, he was the Secret Avenger known as Venom.

Carnage: His name is Cletus Kasady. Once upon a time, he was a murderer. Then he managed to get a hold of an alien symbiote suit that with him and gave him incredible power. He used it to kill a lot of people. Recently he used it to conquer an entire town in Colorado before Venom and the Avengers took him down and locked him up in jail. That never lasts long for Cletus Kasady, AKA Carnage.

OK, here i go. Just started reading comics again so excuse me if i say something thats weird (been outta the loop for a good 5-6 years)

Avengers vs. X-Men


Summary: Since I haven't been paying attention to comics for a while, I believe this takes place a while after Phoenix fucks everything up and about maybe 80% of all mutants lose their powers. Well, long story short, the Phoenix Force is back and looking for a new host. The target is Hope, Cyclops's daughter. The problem is that Scott believes that she is the mutant messiah while Cap and the rest believe she's a ticking time bomb. Lets just say shit get real real quick.

Scarlet Spider# 11 release date: Nov 7th

Hope it's not cyclops daughter. It's cable's adoptive daughter but hope's biological parents have never been mentioned.
