Although its controversial for argument sake I'm listing light yagami from death note, the writers of this show are effing hilarious, they knew what they were doing when they snuck in the light shounen ai between light and L. Frankly they put a lot in this show that shows that they just don't give a shit.

Mirai nikki, its about 2 kids who get phones with which they can see into the future, and they have to kill other "dairy" holders so that 1 of them can become god. Both of them kill a ton people during the anime/cause the death of of others. Personally I liked it, some think it was dragged out and some think it should have been much longer but I think making it longer definitely would have milked it and I don't think they would have been able to come up with more script if they tried. As far as the characters go there was no further development than was already known towards the middle and

- we already pretty much knew light was going to lose it and just kill everyone but it somewhat surprised me when he killed off his family. I can't decide if I'm satisfied or disappointed that light finally killed L but when he did, they made it epic enough I suppose. I just don't like how easily Near caught Kira, if he was so smart why wasn't he the one on the case in the first place.
