It got through its entire story in 40 minutes, only an ADHD ridden child would complain about it being too slow, any shorter and people might be justified in calling it rushed.

And it's not an action movie, it wasn't supposed to thrill you.

Speaking from personal experience, I know that there are 3 major roles in game development. Those that write how the game works, those that model the characters and create the levels, and those that program the game (the path I chose). A school can say they're going to teach you everything you need to know, but in reality you're going to focus on one of these roles. I can't tell you what to do in this case because I learned programming at a university, not a vocational school.

Ninja, If you have to literally learn EVERYTHING to make a game to graduate, do so, but pick your primary role while you're at it.
