Afaik the manga looks a little better than the anime. The faces aren't as rigid and lifeless.

KC just keeps getting better and better. 2nd best anime of 2012 so far.
On the topic of initial D, how good is the anime? i'm considering watching it. I heard it had a great OST(on the level of TTGL, madoka, DtB(especially S2), spice & wolf, kaiji, steins;gate, hellsing:ultimate).
