The reason I ultimately went with PS3 was GT5 and because I had a Logitech wheel from PC racing. I'm just doing research now but I'm in a car club, and some members were talking about how it's better. The graphics, the sound, the tracks, no standard cars, and the community, customization. Downside is I need money for a new wheel. Problem being, all those non racing games, I'd have to get used to the 360 gamepad, but right now just thinking I want a new racing experience, and the PC is kinda dry in this area.

I haven't played many full on racing sims but Forza did seem a bit better than GT5 when I was looking at the two.
Don't think an Xbox controller is too much to get used to either.

You're better off asking GT I guess, I don't think I'd be much help.

OMG If I get a Kinect system, I can use it to look around the cockpit. That's literally one of the biggest problems in GT5, vision.
