I'm back from a wedding. I was playing PSP 1/3 of the time, whether it be GTP or Corpse Party, and man that is a brutal game, in various ways.

Sometimes you think there's a way out, and the game literally says "nah you're gonna die". And since the game's theme is that even if you escape the ghosts, you can't escape the school, ever, and the game literally blocks you off from going anywhere, you just sit there figuring out what to do, but the whole time you had no choice, just sit there figuring out how to escape until you starve or get murdered. And you can't pause it, oh god.

There are manual save points in it, candles, but if you encounter a bad spirit, the candle will go out, so you can't save until you find another one. To exit the game, hit the playstation button, then reload your last candle save.

Corpse Party is a survival horror visual novel, so if that's your thing you'd have no reason to pass it up. Feels like silent hill with no weapons and if you could only win the game using puzzles. It's 16 bit with some anime thrown in.

Oh and surround audio, awesome with the right headphones.

Heheh sounds like fun, so it's kind of like Amnesia in a sense? I've played horror/visual novel type games mainly due to an old russian friend and it was enjoyable, creepy and sometimes scaaaary but enjoyable.
