Rikka is so selfish ;_; poor Touka. She tries to do her best but this girl is so stubborn. The part where they did a sleepover was HNNNNNG. She was so adorable when she said that his shirt smells like him x3.

Rikka fled into her own world because her father died. Yuuta did the same because he felt he was out of place and noone noticed his existence. I think you can't compare those two things. Rikka does not accept her father's death and Yuuta was just lonely.

In the first episode, they were at school. Yuuta was doing it on the balcony of the gym, so he was in school uniform. In that flashback, Yuuta was at home. And when you see Rikka, she wasn't in uniform.

And Touka's been living at the apartment for quite a while; Rikka was the one that just moved in.

2.Yuuta goes to school, sees her at the station and remembers her.
3.Rikka sees Yuuta at the balcony of the school and finally notices that he also had the chu2byou syndrome.
4.Rikka goes super derp mode.

Rikka likes Yuuta because she thinks he is like her. She is lonely and only has her sister, dekomori and now her club(episode where they study for math). Rikka probably moved in first but the movers haven't delivered everything yet. So Yuuta had to help her the next day.

Rikka's moeness has corrupted your mind like Yuuta's melon boobs book his mind.

In the flashback she sees him at home at the balcony in normal clothes. But she moved in later oO. That can't be correct because she is derping since her father died.

I dunno what you're trying to say. I'm just speculating about that flashback here. We see Yuuta with his white tee and bandaged arm doing his poses, which we can imply that this was in his middle school days and when his chuunibyou was in 100%. And we see Rikka look at him. I'm gonna guess that according to that, the two have met before, but Rikka didn't realize it until she remembered in the latest episode. As for why she's there, maybe she was just visiting Touka or something. I dunno.

And Touka was the one that lived at the apartment first...

So Rikka saw Yuuta doing his Dark Flame Master stuff when she was visiting her sister? Then she moved back to her grandparents and after a while she moved to her sister? That would make sense but in episode 1 she saw Yuuta at school doing his stuff. Why would they include that scene twice? The purpose of that scene is that Rikka knows that he is the DFM. I believe the animators didn't remember how Rikka met Yuuta first and included a similiar scene.

I can't imagine that she forgot their first encounter when she visited her sister and remembers after seeing him at the gym. If he is the reason why is going derp mode she should remember him. She should know at what floor he is living and when she was climbing down the balcony he wears the same shirt he wore before :D

Yuuta: balcony at the gym of course scholl uniform; Rikka school uniform
Ep.8 FLASHBACK
Yuuta: at the balcony at his home white shirt and bandages; Rikka: casual clothes no eyepatch no contact lens

Maybe she met Yuuta before her father died. But that would mean Touka moved out when she was really young.

2 years ago Touka left home (Touka: And I ended up leaving this place for work And two years later she hasn't changed at all)

So Rikka has to meet Yuuta somewhere between 2 years ago and now. But she hasn't changed yet which implies that she is derping since Touka left home for work or even earlier.

ahh the confusion.

I'm not even bother trying to speculate the times when who met whoever wherever. lol

I'm just gonna believe that Rikka didn't get a real good look at Yuuta's face (bad angle, Yuuta's hair covered his eyes, etc.) in that flashback.
