Ben-Tou - This title is too short too...

Summary:
The story revolves around a poor high school student named Satou You. Satou goes to the supermarket one day and discovers a bento (boxed meal) on sale at half price. Just as he reaches to grab it, he ends up on the floor unconscious. Satou has just entered the fierce, no-holds-barred supermarket survival battle for half-price bento.

I really need to catch back up. Got started on it by watching one episode with some people from my anime club at school (since our student union building is being reconstructed, we have kinda taken over one room in a cafeteria that is still open to everyone else, but we dominate it for at least five hours a day).

I'm caught up, and I still love this show. The entertainment factor is high for me.

This has been unexpectedly fun. I didn't watch it in the beginning because the premises is just so out there. But saw a few character drawings and some fan art and I decided to check it out.

Wow... yeah the premises is still out there, but the story overtones is pretty good and they have been handling it well. Its actually been a fun highschool fight show that doesn't rely on gratuitous in-your-face fan service.

man, i checked out the prequel(manga)to this. it got me interested even though i felt the drawing was kinda sloppy...

I thought the ending was pretty good. This show really came out of nowhere and surprised me. I'm very happy I watched it. 9/10 and that includes the weird overall background idea.
